Obituary of Bo Lambe
Bo (Robert) Jameson Lambe
Bo (Robert) Jameson Lambe died on August 23, 2023 after complications related to his treatment for brain and spine cancer. He didn’t experience any pain and was able to be his goofy and fun-loving self through his last moments. Bo loved books, band-aids, bubbles, and blankets. He loved his furry friends Rue, Ace, Maple, and Reese. He loved music and singing and “Coco”. He loved being outside and going for rides. He loved to play with cars, water, and play food. He was independent and stubborn but he was also the sweetest and most affectionate son that anyone could ever hope for. Bo was a wonderful, goofy, fun, smart, and curious boy. He was two and a half weeks shy of his third birthday and although he spent the last 7 months in the hospital, it was time spent together as a family, completely surrounded by people who loved him. He got to grow and play and learn during this time.
Bo will be loved and remembered forever by his daddy Chris, his mama Jenna, his Impa Bob, his Ima Linda, his Papa Kurt, Grandpa George, and his aunts, Emily, Katie, Valiant, Ashley, Sara, and Noemi, uncles, John, Jack, Andrew, and Andrew, his godmother Amya, and cousins, Max, Aubrey, Leo, and Luca. Bo was predeceased by his loving Grandma Lisa. He will also be remembered and loved by many great aunts, uncles and great grandparents.
Bo was a warrior and bravely fought stage 3 brain cancer for almost a year. He underwent 6 rounds of intense chemotherapy, and countless surgeries and procedures. We can’t begin to express our gratitude for the compassionate care and love we received by the medical team at Golisano’s Children’s Hospital at Upstate University Hospital. The pediatric oncology team made the last months for Bo as happy and entertained as a toddler could be in his circumstances. He completely adored his nursing friends including Becca, Savvy, Taylor, Alivia, Katelyn, Elizabeth, Courtney, Morgan, Justin, Trish, Maggie, and so many more. We will be forever thankful for them.
Calling Hours will be held at the Nicholas J Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Road, Rome, on Wednesday, August 30th from 3 - 6 p.m. Please feel free to dress casually, as Bo never liked formal attire anyway.
Memorial Contributions are welcomed in Bo’s name to the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, Brian’s Kids, or the Utica Children’s Museum.
