Eugenia B. Brasacchio Eugenia B. Brasacchio, 96, of Rome, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Canandaigua, NY. She was born in San Nicola dell'Alto, Province of Catanzaro, Italy, on February 20, 1916, daughter of the late Salvatore and Caterina Livani Imperiale. On April 29, 1954 she married Raffaele Brasacchio in Catanzaro, Italy. He passed away on June 27, 1966. Eugenia was owner of the former Ralph's Fruit Market on North James Street in Rome. Surviving are a son Dr. Ralph A. Brasacchio, M.D., Victor, NY; a daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Michael Carra, Endwell, NY; two grandchildren, Christopher Carra, of Seattle, WA, and Regina Carra, of Endwell, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Raffaele; three sisters, Giusippina, Maria and Yolanda; and three brothers, Salvatore, Michaele and Modesto. The family would like to express their appreciation to staff and caregivers of M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center and Clark Meadows Enriched Living for the care and compassion shown to Eugenia. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to M.M.Ewing Continuing Care Center's Wish Upon a Star Program, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424, or Clark Meadows Enriched Living, Resident Activities Program, 1 Clark Meadows Way, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
