Obituary of Donald "Pete" E. Brown

Donald "Pete" E. Brown, 67, of Rome passed away Monday, July 17, 2017. He was born in Rome, NY, on August 23, 1949. Pete was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and earned an Associates Degree from Mohawk Valley Community College. On July 8, 1972 he married Mary I. Lucas in St. Paul's Church. She passed away on January 19, 2007. Pete retired as a sales representative for Acosta Sales, based in Albany, NY. He was formerly president of the Toccolana Club.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Melanie Brown, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a daughter, Amanda Brown, Brooklyn, NY, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy and Ellen Webster, Rome, Jim and Teresa Webster, Ava, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Mary and sister, Valerie Arnold.

Services will be private. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd.
