Humbert D. Sergio Humbert D. Sergio, 87, of Utica, NY, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at home. He was born in Walton, NY, on October 31, 1929 son of the late Joseph and Benedetta Santomartino Sergio. Humbert was married to the former Theresa Nojaim and he later was married to the former Marie Maracchioni. He served in the National Guard. Humbert retired from General Electric, Utica, as a configuration specialist. Humbert was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are three daughters; Donna B. Sergio, Carla J. Scotto, both of Rome and Kayla Sergio, New York City, a son, Nathaniel Sergio, Utica and ten grandchildren; Dale, Amy, Alana, Kyle, Nicholas, Nina, Amanda, Talia, Andre and Quinne, nine great grandchildren and one on the way, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two daughters; Karen B. Sergio and Dina Sergio and a sister, Angela Dursi Lomascolo. Calling hours are at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., Rome on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 5-7 pm and a coffee hour at the Rome American Legion, 325 Erie Blvd. West, directly after.
