Robert C. Pinti
Robert C. Pinti, 78, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Betsy Ross Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Rome, NY on March 10, 1936 a son of the late Robert A. and Jennie Clapps Pinti. Robert attended Rome Schools. He was a former employee of Vernon Downs. Mr. Pinti was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and was an avid bowler.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Jill Pinti, Rome, a daughter, Merrie Jo Pinti, three grandchildren; Stephanie Utter, Jennifer Pinti, and Robert A. Pinti, Jr., two great grandchildren; Blake Sharpe, Peyton Prichard. Also surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law; William Pinti, Anthony and Marlene Pinti, and Joan Pinti all of Rome and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Harry Pinti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
