Walter E. Schofield, Jr.
Verona- Walter E. Schofield, Jr., 58, of Verona, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11, 2015. He was born in Schenectady, NY, on March 31, 1956, a son of the late Shirley Schulze and Walter E. Schofield. Walter attended Colgate University and worked as a self-employed contractor. He is survived by his wife Kelly and daughter Heron, both of Verona, daughter Cortney, of Rotterdam, NY, his brother Bradford (Jackie) Schofield, Clifton Park, NY, a sister, Linda Schofield (Karl) Steffen of Schenectady, NY and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 17, at 2:00 PM at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., Rome. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, from 12-2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New London Vol. Fire Dept., 7062 Cornell St, Rome NY, 13440.
