Rosanne T. Coughlin

1958 – 2026

Rosanne T. Coughlin, 68, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 29, 2026, at Abraham House in Rome, with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Troy, N.Y. on April 04, 1958, daughter of the late William J and Anne (Picucci) Coughlin. Rosanne graduated from Rome Free Academy and received an associate’s degree from Morrisville College. She  worked as an LPN at Walsh ICF in Rome.

In her early years she enjoyed working on the farm near her childhood home and riding her horse Bucky Boy. She also liked running with the Roman Runners and helping her father with track and cross country meets.

In later years, she enjoyed traveling, being outside, walking on trails, watching nature, gardening, reading, riding her bike and working on puzzles in the winter.

Surviving are her daughter, Jaclyn Coughlin and son, Sean Coughlin, two sisters, Maria (Perry) Reed, and Patricia (John) McCormack, two nieces, Marisa Reed (David Florence), and Patty Reed, as well as a grand-nephew, Owen Florence, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Anne Coughlin.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 3, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd., Rome, N.Y. 13440. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., prior to the service. Burial in Rome Cemetery will be private.
