Ann F. Brooks Ann F. Brooks, 100, of Syracuse, formerly of Rome, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was born in Rome, NY, on December 4, 1916, daughter of the late Charles and Lucy Fabrizio. Ann was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. She married, Ernest L. Brooks, who passed away on January 29, 1979. Ann was a former employee of Gordon C. Carly Co., Rome and a former member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas and Joanna Brooks, Brewerton, David and Isabel Brooks, Syracuse, a daughter-in-law: Linda Brooks, Syracuse, three grandchildren; Ernest Brooks, Matthew Brooks and Rebecca Boulton, three great grandchildren, Joshua, Rowan, and Reid, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters: Mildred Cataldo, Pauline Fortner, and Virginia Caponera. Gravesides Services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Lower East Dominick St., Rome, with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 210 E. Dominick St., Rome NY 13440. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J.
