Assunta "Sue" P. Biancucci Assunta "Sue" P. Biancucci, 93 of Rome, passed away, Wednesday December 14, 2016, at Colonial Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Rome. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on August 22, 1923, daughter of the late Archangelo and Naunziata DeRenzio Cianfracco. On July 27, 1947 she married Peter L. Biancucci in St. John the Baptist Church. He passed away December 5, 2009. Assunta retired from a career in food service which continued to be her passion in her years to come. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Angelo P. Biancucci, Rome, a son-in-law, Ronald Manchester, Mandan, ND.; six grandchildren; Angela (Scott) Montesano; Michelle (Mike) Wood; William (Nichelle) Manchester; Peter Manchester; Brianne (Louie) Manna; Kristy (Mike) Smith; and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Peter Biancucci; daughter, Anna Rose Manchester; and several brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 210 E. Dominick St. Rome, NY 13440. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J.
